This policy explains what information BudBase collects when you use this site, and how it's used. BudBase is a demonstration store; this page is included to show the kind of policy a real cannabis retailer would need, not as legal advice.

Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and a securely hashed version of your password — we never store your password in plain text. When you place an order, we additionally collect your delivery address, phone number (optional), and chosen payment method.

How We Use It

We use your information to process orders, maintain your account, and contact you about order status. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Age Verification

This site requires visitors to confirm they are 18 or older before browsing. We do not independently verify age beyond this confirmation on the storefront; age and ID checks happen at the point of delivery or pickup, as required by law.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to remember your cart and login state, and a separate cookie to remember that you've passed the age gate. These are functional cookies required for the site to work, not third-party tracking cookies.
